There are two ways to create a test. One is to design the test in an objective process for measurement, and the other is to take a bunch of questions relevant to that role and compile them into a single test. The former process accurately describes the process merreo undertakes to create a new test, while the latter describes how tests are usually created.
If you don’t have the resources to create measurable tests then I suggest you abstain from doing so. Else you can create your tests, and if you share those custom tests with us, we will add them to your test library. Please note that this is an optional premium feature.
When to create your tests?
1) You are hiring for a niche role and you need to measure a narrow spectrum of skills and abilities not covered by our test library.
2) Your team has already developed a high-quality & reliable test, and you want to continue using that but in our secure platform.
3) If that skill assessment is not present in our Library.
Merreo also has a semi-open question bank. This allows you to see the type of questions that the candidate will be taking. In addition to that, those questions can also serve as an inspiration for you to create your tests. Yet, the most important feature of our question bank is that you can pick and choose the questions from the question bank to add them to your custom test. The implication is that you can have a custom test that blends questions of your creation with ours. With this feature, we are making it much easier for you to create your tests.
